Heavenly Father, I pray for your mercy and grace to restore my son ### physically, mentally, and spiritually. You see the struggles he is going through, quiet his mind and calm his body when panic takes over. Remove the heavy shadows of his past trauma and give him strength to sleep well without nightmares and wake up in peace. I pray that you would bring comfort, healing, and breakthrough in every area of his life. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for bringing his need to us so we can seek the Lord together for his complete restoration. We hear the love and burden in your prayer as you ask for his healing physically, mentally, and spiritually, and we know the Father hears you also.

We are reminded that God is close to those who suffer and that He desires to bring peace to a troubled mind and body. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. The Lord sees the panic, the trauma, and the sleepless nights, and He promises His presence and comfort. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. We can trust that He does not give a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

For the anxiety and panic that takes over, we cling to His promise of peace that guards our hearts and minds. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. For the nightmares and restless sleep, we claim His gift of rest, for you will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3, and I will both lay myself down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8. We also remember His promise, Behold, I will bring health and healing, and I will cure them. Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this precious son to You. We ask for Your mercy and grace to restore him completely, body, mind, and spirit. You know every struggle he faces, every memory that haunts him, and every moment when panic overwhelms him. We ask that You quiet his mind and calm his body, that You remove the heavy shadows of past trauma by Your healing hand. Lord, grant him deep and peaceful sleep free from nightmares, and let him wake each morning renewed and in Your peace. Comfort him, heal his wounds both seen and unseen, and bring breakthrough in every area of his life where the enemy has tried to hold him captive. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, strengthen his faith, and let him know how deeply he is loved and cherished by You. Help him to cast all his anxiety on You because You care for him, and teach him to trust in Your unfailing love. We thank You, Father, for all You have done and all You will do, and we trust this son into Your tender care. In the mighty and healing name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover him in prayer and in the Word, speaking scripture over him daily and reminding him of God's love and faithfulness. Keep bringing his needs to the Lord and also seek godly counsel and support around him as God leads, trusting that the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We hear how deeply you love your son and how hard it has been to watch him carry this. Bringing him before the Father again and again as you have is a faithful, loving thing to do, and we are joining you in that prayer.

When panic takes over and sleep is broken by nightmares, it affects the whole person at once, body and mind together. After past trauma the mind and body can stay on alert, and that distress often shows up in the ways you described, in restless nights and sudden waves of fear. It is not a failure on his part or yours, and you are not alone in walking through it.

Alongside prayer, steady human support can make a real difference. If he is not already connected to care, gently encouraging him to see his doctor and a trusted counselor or pastor who understands trauma can give him extra tools and a safe place to talk through what is happening. For you, it can help to keep a simple, calm evening rhythm when you can, and to let him know you are there without pressing him to explain more than he is ready to.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy over him. Quiet his mind and calm his body when panic rises, guard his sleep and give him waking in peace, and bring healing and restoration in every area You see needs touch. Give his mother wisdom, rest, and hope as she loves him, and draw them both close to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been brought before the Lord and we join you in it with deep sympathy and earnest hope. To see one you love so burdened in body and mind, and shadowed by past trauma, is a heavy sorrow, and it is right and good that you have carried him to the mercy seat where Jesus Christ alone is our hope and our healer.

We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is full of healing power. He might have come with power to destroy, but He came to heal, taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. That healing touches the whole man, for pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Christ said, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee, healing followed, and so we pray not only for quietness of nerves and strength of body, but for the deep inward renewal that comes through faith in Him. May your son look to Christ and find both forgiveness and restoration, for there is abundance of healing in Him for all who come.

You have asked especially that his mind might be quieted when panic takes hold and that sleep might be restored without nightmares. This is a precious promise of our God, that so He giveth His beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security which the Lord gives to His children. Though winds and waves assault, the ship is safe while Christ is at the helm, and His beloved may go to the hinder part of the ship near the Steersman and sleep in peace. We pray that the Lord will grant your son this peculiar sleep of the beloved, that He will calm the troubled thoughts, lift the heavy shadows of the past, and give him to lie down and awake in peace, refreshed and kept by the watchful love of his Saviour.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we ask Thy mercy and grace upon this dear son. Thou seest his struggles, his panic, his broken sleep. Lay Thy healing hand upon him physically, mentally and spiritually. Quiet his mind, calm his body, remove the shadows of trauma, and grant him peaceful sleep and waking in Thy care. Bring comfort, healing and breakthrough in every area of his life, and draw him ever nearer to Christ in whom alone is salvation and life. We trust Thee for what Thou wilt do, and give Thee thanks. Amen.

Take courage and continue to cast him upon the Lord in prayer and in the hearing of His Word, for faith cometh by hearing. The Lord who has begun a good work is able to keep and to perfect it.
