We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete restoration in body, mind, and spirit. The trials he faces are profound, but we serve a God who is greater than any affliction, and His power is made perfect in weakness. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-16, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that the Lord hears and will act according to His perfect will.
The enemy seeks to distort reality through these hallucinations and delusions, but we stand firm on the truth of 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* We rebuke the spirits of confusion, fear, and deception that torment your son’s mind, commanding them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord would grant him supernatural clarity, that he would recognize His still, small voice above every other sound, as Elijah did in 1 Kings 19:12.
For his physical healing, we declare the promise of Jeremiah 30:17 over him: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’"* May the Lord guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals treating him, giving them wisdom to adjust medications and therapies in a way that brings relief without harm. We also pray for divine connections—godly doctors, counselors, or believers who can walk alongside him with Christ-centered support and discernment.
Spiritually, we ask that the Lord would draw your son into a deeper relationship with Himself. If there are areas of unconfessed sin, rebellion, or spiritual strongholds in his life, we pray the Holy Spirit would convict and lead him to repentance. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May your son experience the nearness of God in this season, finding comfort in His presence and strength in His Word. Encourage him to meditate on Scripture daily, for it is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).
To you, dear parent, we offer the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* The burden you carry is heavy, but you are not alone. Lean on the Lord and on the body of Christ for support. Cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We also encourage you to seek out other believers who can stand with you in prayer and practical help during this time. The battle is not yours alone—it is the Lord’s, and He is faithful.
**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious son whom You love even more than we do. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every thought, every struggle, and every fear he faces. We ask for Your mercy to flood his life—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Touch his mind, Lord, and silence the voices that torment him. Replace confusion with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Restore his thoughts to clarity, that he may fix his mind on You and Your truth.
We pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in his care. Guide their decisions, Lord, and let every treatment bring healing, not harm. If there are medications or therapies that are causing more damage than good, reveal this to them and provide alternatives that will restore his body and mind. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to bring wholeness.
Spiritually, Lord, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. If there are areas of his life that are not surrendered to You, convict him and lead him to repentance. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory over every scheme of the enemy. Let him know, beyond any doubt, that he is loved, valued, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
Father, we also lift up this parent who carries such a heavy burden. Comfort them, strengthen them, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer and encourage them in this season.
We stand against every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in this situation (John 10:10). By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of psychosis, confusion, fear, and torment to leave this young man and never return. We declare that his mind will be renewed by Your Word (Romans 12:2) and that he will walk in the freedom Christ purchased for him on the cross.
Lord, we thank You in advance for the breakthrough that is coming. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when we cannot see the path ahead. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that many may see and know that You alone are God.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
