We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, crying out to our Heavenly Father who is the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. Your heart’s cry for your son’s healing—body, mind, and spirit—resonates deeply with us, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that nothing is too difficult for our Lord. We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of healing and restoration. As Scripture declares, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and do what is right in his eyes, and pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB). Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He is able to bring wholeness to your son in every area of his life.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we recognize that the torment your son is enduring through medication-induced psychosis is an attack on his mind and spirit. But we take authority over these afflictions in the name of Jesus, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, WEB). We bind the spirits of confusion, delusion, and fear that are assaulting your son’s mind, and we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for divine wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals treating your son, that the Lord would guide them to the right medications and therapies that will bring restoration without harmful side effects. We ask for supernatural clarity for your son’s mind, that the auditory hallucinations would cease and that delusions would be replaced with the truth of God’s Word. May he be able to discern the voice of the Lord above all others, for *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27, WEB). Let him be filled with the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Counselor, leading him into all truth (John 16:13).
We also pray for your strength and peace as you walk this difficult path with your son. The burden you carry is heavy, but the Lord invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not grow weary in praying and believing, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Cling to the promise that *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working even now to bring breakthrough.
Father, we ask that You would surround your son with Your angels, protecting him from further harm and ministering to him in his distress. Let him experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that he is not alone and that You are fighting for him. We declare healing over his body, renewal over his mind, and a fresh infilling of Your Spirit over his soul. May this trial become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness, drawing him—and all who witness it—closer to You.
We also encourage you to continue to speak life and Scripture over your son. Remind him of who he is in Christ: a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in the midst of this storm, let him know that his identity is not in his struggles but in the One who overcame the world.
Finally, we urge you to remain steadfast in prayer, not just for physical and mental healing, but for your son’s spiritual walk. If he has not yet surrendered his life fully to Jesus Christ, we pray that this season of brokenness would lead him to the foot of the cross, where true healing begins. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). There is no pit so deep that God’s love cannot reach, no darkness so thick that His light cannot penetrate. May your son encounter the saving and healing power of Jesus in a way that transforms his life forever.
Father, we thank You in advance for the miracle You are working in your son’s life. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when we cannot see the outcome. Strengthen this family, unite them in faith, and let Your name be glorified through this trial. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
