We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, and by His wounds, your son is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Heavenly Father, we ask You to touch him with Your healing hand, restoring every part of his being that is weak, weary, or afflicted.
We also stand in the gap for his protection, Lord. You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2). We pray that You would surround him with Your holy angels, shielding him from all harm, danger, and the schemes of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May he walk in the assurance that You are his ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and let him grow in the knowledge and love of Your Word. May he find his strength and identity in Christ alone, for in You, he lives and moves and has his being (Acts 17:28). If there are areas in his life where he has strayed from Your will, we ask that You would convict him gently and lead him back to the path of righteousness. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, anxiety, and despair that may be trying to take hold of him. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for it is written, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that your son is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in prayer, knowing that You hear us and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in his life, and may he experience Your presence in a tangible way each day.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
