We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart for him is evident, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores what has been shattered. You have rightly come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is in this mighty name that we boldly approach God, trusting in His power to heal and deliver.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not from God, for our Lord is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). We rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee from your son, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray that the Lord would renew your son’s mind, washing him with the water of His Word, that he may be transformed by the Holy Spirit. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
We also pray for protection over your son, that the Lord would surround him with His angels, encamping around him to deliver him from all evil (Psalm 34:7, WEB). May the blood of Jesus be a hedge of protection over his life, shielding him from every attack of the enemy. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Let every plan of the enemy against your son be thwarted, and may the Lord grant him restful, peaceful sleep, free from torment or fear.
Father, we ask that You would comfort your son with Your love, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB). Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory and wholeness, declaring Your praises even in the midst of this trial.
We also lift you up, dear parent, asking that the Lord would strengthen you with His might through His Spirit in your inner being (Ephesians 3:16, WEB). May He grant you wisdom to know how to support your son, and may you be filled with His peace, knowing that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB). Do not grow weary in praying, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power (James 5:16, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in your son’s life. We declare healing over him in the name of Jesus, trusting that You are restoring him to fullness in You. Let this season be a testimony of Your goodness and power, that many may see and glorify Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
