We come before the Lord with you in agreement, lifting up your precious son to the Father, who loves him even more than we can comprehend. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-16, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We stand on this promise, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ for your son—body, mind, and spirit.
The Word also assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We claim this protection over your son, asking the Lord to surround him with His heavenly host, shielding him from every harm, danger, and scheme of the enemy. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for his spiritual growth, that he would be rooted and grounded in love, filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). May he walk in the truth of God’s Word, putting on the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). If there are any areas of his life that are not aligned with God’s will—whether in thoughts, actions, or influences—we ask the Holy Spirit to convict and lead him into repentance and renewal.
Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers because we come in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We praise You for the authority we have in Christ to ask for healing, protection, and deliverance. Strengthen this mother’s faith as she trusts in You, and let her see Your mighty hand at work in her son’s life. May this situation bring glory to Your name and draw her family closer to You.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, fear, or oppression in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee from your son. Let the blood of Jesus cover him, and let every attack of the enemy be rendered powerless. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness.
Continue to stand firm in prayer, trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it. *"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen"* (Hebrews 11:1). Keep speaking life and Scripture over your son, and surround yourself with believers who will agree with you in prayer. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
We are standing with you in this, believing for a testimony of God’s healing and protection. May your son’s life be a reflection of God’s grace and power, and may you both experience the deep, abiding peace that comes from trusting in Him. To God be the glory!
