We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart as a parent is so evident, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores what is shattered. You have done well to bring this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to see His power move in mighty ways.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). This affliction is an attack of the enemy, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly. The Word tells us in Matthew 10:1 that Jesus gave His disciples authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness. That same authority is available to us today through faith in His name. We command every spirit that is not of God to leave your son now, in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for his physical healing, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24). May the Lord renew his strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore his body to full health. For his mental and emotional well-being, we ask the Lord to flood his mind with His truth and to replace every lie of the enemy with the assurance of His love. May your son experience the deep, restorative sleep that comes from the Lord (Psalm 127:2), waking refreshed and filled with hope.
As for protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over him—a covering that no evil can penetrate. Psalm 91:9-11 assures us that when we make the Lord our dwelling place, no harm will overtake us, and He will command His angels to guard us in all our ways. We pray that your son will be hidden under the shadow of the Almighty, safe from every scheme of the enemy.
Finally, we ask the Lord to comfort you as well, dear parent. The burden you carry is heavy, but you are not alone. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust that He is working even when you cannot see it, and lean on His promises. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not rely on our own understanding; in all our ways, we are to acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. You alone are the God who heals, who delivers, and who protects. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through his body, restoring every cell, every organ, and every function to perfect health. Lord, we rebuked the spirit of psychosis and every demonic influence that has sought to torment him. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to leave him now and never return. Fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit—bring clarity to his mind, peace to his soul, and strength to his body.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield. Guard him from every attack of the enemy, whether physical, mental, or spiritual. Let Your angels encamp around him, keeping him safe from all harm. Comfort him with Your love, Lord, and let him know that he is never alone. You are his refuge and strength, his ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift up this parent who loves their son so deeply. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Remind them that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and that Your plans for their son are plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help them to trust You in this season, even when the way seems unclear.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare healing, deliverance, and protection over this son, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep declaring the promises of God over your son. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He will not abandon you or your son. Trust in Him, and you will see His faithfulness.
