Healing, protection
We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit—and for the mighty protection of our Heavenly Father to surround him like a shield. How beautiful it is to see a parent’s heart turned toward God in faith, trusting in His power and love for their child. Your prayer is already aligned with the will of God, for He delights in the well-being of His children and has promised to hear us when we call upon Him in the name of Jesus.
The Scriptures remind us of God’s heart for healing and protection. In Psalm 103:2-3, we read, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And in Psalm 91:11-12, the Lord assures us, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* What a mighty God we serve, who not only heals but also commands His angels to watch over those who belong to Him!
Yet we also know that healing and protection are not just physical—they are deeply spiritual. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We must stand firm in the authority of Christ, resisting any schemes of the devil that would seek to harm your son’s mind, body, or spirit. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Therefore, we put on the full armor of God, praying that your son would be strengthened in the Lord and in the power of His might.
We also encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer daily, speaking life and Scripture over him. Proverbs 18:21 declares, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Your words, saturated in faith and aligned with God’s promises, have power. Speak healing, speak protection, speak the peace of God over his life. And trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to You. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch him completely—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear or anxiety, flood his heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we ask that You would protect him from every form of harm and danger, seen and unseen. Surround him with Your angels, encamp around him, and let no weapon formed against him prosper.
We break any assignment of the enemy over his life in the name of Jesus. No sickness, no oppression, no spiritual attack shall have dominion over him, for he belongs to You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, renew his mind with Your truth, and let him walk in the fullness of the life You have called him to. Father, we thank You that You are faithful, and we trust in Your promises. Let Your will be done in his life, and may he grow to know You more deeply through this season.
