We stand with you in agreement, lifting your son before the Lord with hearts full of faith and expectation, for we know that our God is a God of healing, restoration, and deliverance. It is beautiful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer is rooted in the authority of Jesus’ name, and we join you in claiming His promises over your son’s life.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not from God, for our Lord is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). We rebuked this spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to flee, for *"Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that your son may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). We declare the truth of God’s Word over him: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let every chain of mental torment be broken, and let the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
We also pray for his physical healing, knowing that *"by his wounds you are healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). May the Lord restore his body, renew his strength, and grant him restful, uninterrupted sleep. *"The Lord sustains him on his sickbed. You turn all his bed in his sickness"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB). We ask for divine protection over him, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and that the Lord would surround him with His angels, encamping around him to deliver him (Psalm 34:7, WEB).
As you continue to intercede for your son, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God and to stand firm in faith. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Keep speaking life, scripture, and the truth of Jesus’ victory over him. Remind him of God’s love and faithfulness, and cover him in prayer daily.
Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace over this son. We ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, renewing his mind and healing every broken place within him. Let Your light shine into the darkness, dispelling every lie of the enemy and replacing it with Your truth. Strengthen him spiritually, that he may grow in faith and walk in the freedom You have purchased for him through the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon of the enemy shall prevail against him, and we trust You to bring complete restoration—body, soul, and spirit. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, flood his heart and mind, and may he rest in the assurance of Your love. We commit him into Your hands, Lord, knowing that You are his healer, protector, and redeemer. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
