We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete restoration in body, mind, and spirit. It is beautiful to see you interceding for him in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and the authority to command healing and deliverance. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in this battle for your son’s wholeness.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The spirit of psychosis is not from God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We declare the truth of God’s Word over your son: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your son, breaking every chain of mental torment and restoring his mind to the soundness and clarity that comes from the Lord.
We also pray for protection over him, knowing that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus is a shield around him, guarding him from every attack of the enemy. May the Lord surround him with His angels, encamping around him to deliver him from all evil (Psalm 34:7). Let every scheme of darkness be exposed and rendered powerless by the light of Christ, who has already triumphed over every principality and power (Colossians 2:15).
As you continue to stand in the gap for your son, we encourage you to cling to the promise that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15). Do not grow weary in praying, for our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Speak life over him daily, reminding him of his identity in Christ—that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that God’s plans for him are for good and not for disaster, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to flow through every part of his being. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of psychosis and every demonic assignment against his mind in the name of Jesus. By the authority given to us through the blood of Christ, we command these torments to leave him now and never return. Fill him instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant him restful, uninterrupted sleep as he lies down in safety under Your watchful care (Proverbs 3:24).
Father, we ask for divine protection over him—body, soul, and spirit. Hide him under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4) and let no harm come near his dwelling. Comfort him with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let him know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is deeply loved by You. Restore his mind, Lord, and renew his strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Give him clarity, hope, and a steadfast trust in You, even in the midst of this storm.
We also lift up this mother who intercedes so faithfully for her son. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You. Remind her that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Let her see Your hand moving in this situation, and may her faith be a beacon of light to her son, pointing him always to You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his healing and restoration. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep speaking life, keep praying without ceasing, and trust that God is moving even when you cannot see it. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe for a testimony of God’s goodness and power in your son’s life.
