We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart’s plea for his deliverance from the torment of psychosis and for the peace of God to guard his thoughts resonates deeply with us, for we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Let us stand together on the promises of Scripture, declaring the power of Christ over every affliction and the authority we have in His name to rebuke the forces of darkness.
The Word of God assures us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24). For the mind, we claim the promise of 2 Timothy 1:7: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* The spirit of psychosis is not from the Lord—it is a work of the enemy to distort reality and steal peace. But greater is He who is in your son than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We command every unclean spirit of confusion, torment, and mental oppression to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"whatever we bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever we release on earth will have been released in heaven"* (Matthew 18:18).
We also pray for his physical healing, that every cell, organ, and system would align with God’s perfect design. May the Lord renew his strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore him to full health, for *"I am Yahweh, your healer"* (Exodus 15:26). Let peaceful sleep wash over him like a river, as it is written: *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8).
For his spiritual protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over his life—a hedge of fire that no weapon of the enemy can penetrate (Zechariah 2:5). May the Lord surround him with His angels, encamped around him to deliver him (Psalm 34:7), and fill his heart with the unshakable knowledge of His love. Let him experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit, who is our Counselor and Advocate (John 14:26), driving out all fear and replacing it with the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is the only name under heaven by which we are saved and through which we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name with such power, no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Let this truth anchor your faith as you continue to intercede for your son.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of mercy. You are the God who heals, the God who delivers, the God who restores. We ask You to stretch out Your hand and touch him now—body, soul, and spirit. Rebuke every spirit of psychosis, confusion, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. Let these unclean spirits be bound and cast into the abyss, never to return. Fill the void with Your Holy Spirit, flooding his mind with Your peace, Your truth, and Your soundness.
Lord, we pray for supernatural healing over his physical body. Let every sickness, every pain, every weakness bow to the authority of Jesus. Restore him to wholeness, that he may rise up in strength and testify of Your goodness. Grant him sleep that is deep and restorative, free from nightmares or restlessness. Let his nights be a time of refreshing, where Your angels minister to him as they did to Elijah (1 Kings 19:5-7).
Protect him, O Lord, from every scheme of the enemy. Hide him in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 17:8) and let no harm come near his dwelling. Surround him with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), and let him know beyond a doubt that he is loved, cherished, and fought for by You.
Father, we also lift up this mother who intercedes for her son. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You. Remind her that You are working even when she cannot see, and that Your promises are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). Let her trust in You be unshaken, knowing that You hear her prayers and will answer in Your perfect timing.
We declare all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, speaking life and healing over your son daily. Play worship music in his space, read Scripture aloud over him (especially Psalm 91 and Isaiah 53), and gather other believers to agree with you in prayer (Matthew 18:19). The enemy may fight, but the victory is already won through Christ. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you *will* reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We are standing with you in this battle, and we believe we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
