We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that our God is a God of restoration and deliverance. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The spirit of psychosis is not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that every chain of mental torment be broken in the mighty name of Jesus, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).
The Word of God assures us that He is our healer: *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds"* (1 Peter 2:24). We claim this promise over your son’s physical body, asking the Lord to restore every cell, organ, and system to perfect health. May His healing power flow through every part of his being, bringing wholeness and strength. We also pray for his mind to be renewed by the truth of God’s Word, that he may experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him rest in the assurance that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that the Lord’s plans for him are for good and not for evil, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
For protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over him, knowing that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask the Lord to surround him with His angels, encamping around him to deliver him from all evil (Psalm 34:7). May the Lord be a wall of fire around him, shielding him from every attack of the enemy. We pray that he will dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1), where no harm can reach him.
We also lift up his spiritual well-being, asking that the Holy Spirit would fill him anew, convicting him of truth and drawing him closer to Jesus. If there are any areas of sin or strongholds in his life, we pray for repentance and breakthrough. May he be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend the width and length and height and depth of God’s love for him (Ephesians 3:17-19). Let him experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and Advocate (John 14:26).
Finally, we thank you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-11), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we pray and declare these things.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in this young man’s life. Touch him, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through him. Deliver him from every oppressive spirit and fill him with Your peace. Protect him from all harm, and let Your love surround him like a shield. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and let him know beyond any doubt that You are his Refuge and Strength. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and truth over your son. Keep covering him in prayer and saturating his environment with worship and the Word of God. Trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Stay steadfast in prayer, and do not lose heart, for the Lord hears the cries of His children and will answer (Luke 18:1). May you also be filled with the peace and strength of the Lord as you walk this journey, knowing that you are not alone—He is with you every step of the way.
