We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart for him is evident, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the One who restores what is broken. You have rightly come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace and receive the promises of God. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is in this mighty name that we boldly approach God, trusting in His power to heal and deliver.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not from the Lord, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee from your son, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray that the Lord would fill your son with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord grant him restful sleep, free from torment, and renew his mind with the truth of God’s Word. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Let this promise be a balm to your son’s soul as he rests in the arms of the Savior.
We also pray for his physical healing, asking the Lord to touch every part of his body that is afflicted. *"By his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we claim this promise over him, trusting that the Lord’s healing power is at work within him. May his body be restored to full health, and may he experience the strength and vitality that comes from the Lord. We ask for protection over him as well, that the Lord would surround him with His angels, guarding him from all harm and evil. *"The Lord will preserve you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore"* (Psalm 121:7-8, WEB). Let this assurance fill your heart as you trust in the Lord’s faithfulness.
As you continue to intercede for your son, we encourage you to stand firm in faith, not wavering in your prayers. *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Keep speaking life and truth over him, reminding him of God’s love and promises. Surround him with the Word of God, for it is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). And above all, let him know that his hope and identity are found in Christ alone. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that this season of trial would draw him closer to the Savior, leading him to repentance and faith in the One who can save him completely.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace over this son. We ask that You would move mightily in his life, bringing healing, deliverance, and restoration. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, renewing his mind and strengthening his faith. Let him know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is loved by You, and that You have a purpose and a plan for his life. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved in his treatment, that they would be guided by Your hand to provide the best care possible. And Lord, we ask that You would comfort this mother’s heart, filling her with Your peace as she trusts in You. Remind her that You are sovereign, and that nothing is too difficult for You.
We declare victory over this situation in the name of Jesus, believing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his healing. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
