We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son to our Heavenly Father. We join in agreement with this prayer, declaring the power and authority of Jesus' name over every area of his life. Father, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, healing has already been provided (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promise that "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20).
Lord, we specifically rebuke the spirit of psychosis in Jesus' mighty name. The enemy has no authority here, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of confusion and torment to flee right now in Jesus' name. We declare that this young man has the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) and that God has not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask for Your supernatural protection to surround him like a shield. "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). Protect his mind, his body, and his spirit from every attack of the enemy. We pray for peaceful, restorative sleep - that he would lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make him dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for complete restoration - spirit, soul, and body. May he experience the truth that "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Surround him with godly influences, wise counsel, and medical professionals who will honor You in their treatment approaches.
Lord, we ask that You would draw this young man closer to Yourself. May he experience Your love in tangible ways. Reveal Yourself to him as Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. May he come to know You more deeply through this trial, emerging with unshakable faith. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
We pray for the parents and family as well - grant them wisdom, patience, and supernatural peace as they walk through this valley. May they be strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might (Colossians 1:11). We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
