We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son to our Heavenly Father. The cry for healing—physically, mentally, and spiritually—is one that resonates deeply with us, for we know the pain of seeing a loved one struggle. We stand in agreement with this prayer, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible (Isaiah 53:5). The spirit of psychosis has no place in the life of a child of God, and we boldly rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every lying spirit, every tormenting thought, and every attack on his mind to flee now in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask You to restore soundness to his mind, just as You did for the man possessed by a legion of demons in Mark 5. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for deep, restorative sleep—sleep that refreshes his body, renews his strength, and allows him to wake with hope. Protect him from every scheme of the enemy, for no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around him day and night (Psalm 91:11).
We also lift up the spiritual condition of this son. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him with cords of love, revealing to him the truth of the Gospel. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If he is already a believer, we ask that You deepen his faith, strengthen his spirit, and fill him with the assurance of Your love. Let him know that he is not alone, that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him. Guide doctors, counselors, and family members to make decisions that align with Your will. Provide the right support, the right words, and the right interventions to bring about his full restoration. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20).
In the name of Jesus, we break every generational curse, every ungodly soul tie, and every assignment of darkness over his life. We speak life, wholeness, and divine purpose over him. May he rise up in the strength of the Lord, knowing that greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, for Your healing power, and for the victory that is already won through the blood of Jesus. Amen.
