We lift up your precious son to the Lord, our Healer and Protector, with heavy hearts for the battles he faces, both seen and unseen. The weight of PTSD is a burden no one should carry alone, and we stand with you in faith, declaring that God’s peace is greater than any torment of the night. The Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We trust that the Lord is drawing near to your son in his distress, binding up his wounds with the balm of His presence.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and torment that seeks to steal his peace and rob him of rest. In the name of Jesus, we command every nightmare, every flashback, and every lie of the enemy to be silenced. Your Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray that Your perfect love would cast out all fear, filling his mind with truth and his heart with the assurance of Your protection. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, as Psalm 91:11 promises: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
We also pray for deep, restorative sleep for your son. May his body, mind, and spirit find true rest in You, as Jesus invites in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Let his dreams be filled with Your love, light, and the hope of Your promises. May he wake refreshed, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Give you wisdom, patience, and an unshakable faith as you walk this journey with your son. Remind you both that You are not distant from their pain but are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
