Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with heavy hearts for the battles he faces in his mind and spirit. The scars of trauma run deep, and the nightmares that plague his sleep are a cruel reminder of the pain he carries. But You, Lord, are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We declare Your promise over him—that You will give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and torment that seeks to steal his rest and his hope. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command those nightmares to cease and declare that his mind will be renewed by Your Word and Your truth (Romans 12:2). Fill his dreams with visions of Your goodness, Your protection, and Your love. Let him wake each morning with the assurance that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for physical and emotional healing, Lord. PTSD is a heavy burden, but You are the God who delivers and restores. Strengthen him with Your might in his inner being (Ephesians 3:16), and surround him with people who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his life. Remind him that he is not defined by his past but by Your love and the future You have for him (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around him—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Shield him from the enemy’s attacks and let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with Your angels to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). May he find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are with him always, even in the darkest nights.

We also encourage this dear one to seek godly counsel and support—whether through biblical counseling, trusted believers, or medical professionals who honor You. Healing is often a journey, and You use many tools to bring restoration. Let him be open to Your leading in every step.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that this son is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37). May he experience Your peace that transcends all understanding and rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for him.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
