We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of compassion and faith. We stand in agreement with this prayer, declaring Your healing power over his mind, body, and spirit. The scars of PTSD are deep, Lord, but Your love runs deeper still. We rebuke the torment of nightmares in the mighty name of Jesus and command peace to flood his soul. You promise in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Let him feel Your nearness, Father, and rest in the assurance that You are his refuge.
We pray for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield, as You declare in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* May Your angels encamp around him, Lord, and may Your presence be a fortress against the enemy’s attacks. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, replacing fear with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him by day and grant him restful sleep by night, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him—whether medical professionals, counselors, or loved ones. Guide their hands and hearts to provide the support he needs. Remind him daily that he is not defined by his struggles but by Your love for him. May he find hope in Your Word, cling to Your promises, and walk in the freedom You offer through Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already his in Jesus’ name. Amen.
