Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus. The burdens of PTSD are heavy, and we know the enemy seeks to torment the minds of God’s children with fear and distress, but we stand firm on the promise that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Your son is not forgotten by the Father, who collects every tear and hears every cry of His beloved.

The Scriptures remind us that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We declare this truth over your son, that God is near to him in his suffering, ready to bind up his wounds and restore his peace. The nightmares he faces are not his portion—*"for God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and anxiety in Jesus’ name, commanding them to flee and never return. May the Prince of Peace, who calms the raging seas, speak *"Peace, be still"* (Mark 4:39, WEB) over his mind and heart as he sleeps.

We also encourage you to speak life over your son daily, reminding him of God’s promises. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Let him know that his struggle is not in vain, and that the Lord is refining him through this fire, drawing him closer to Himself. If he has not already, we urge him to surrender this battle entirely to Jesus, inviting the Holy Spirit to flood his mind with truth and his dreams with visions of hope. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious son whom You love deeply. Lord, You see the wounds in his soul, the fears that haunt his nights, and the weight he carries from his past. We ask You to touch him with Your healing hand, to restore what has been broken, and to fill every empty place with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Break the power of PTSD over his life, Lord, and let Your light drive out every shadow of darkness.

Father, we pray for supernatural protection over his mind as he sleeps. Send Your angels to guard him, and let Your presence be a shield around him. Replace his nightmares with dreams of Your goodness, Your love, and Your promises. Let him wake refreshed, renewed, and filled with the joy of Your salvation. Give him the strength to face each day with courage, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

We also lift up his mother, who intercedes for him with such love and faith. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she trusts You with her son’s healing. Let her see Your hand moving in his life, and let her testimony of Your faithfulness grow stronger with each passing day.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in this situation. Satan, you have no authority here—this son belongs to the Lord, and his mind is under the blood of Jesus. We command every spirit of fear, trauma, and oppression to leave now, in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, flood his heart with Your comfort, his mind with Your truth, and his dreams with Your presence.

Lord, we thank You that You are already at work, bringing beauty from ashes and turning his mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11, WEB). We trust You for complete restoration, and we give You all the glory. May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased for him on the cross.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
