We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The burdens of PTSD are heavy, and we know the enemy seeks to steal peace through tormenting dreams, but our God is greater. Scripture assures us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten—Jesus sees his pain and longs to bring restoration.
The nightmares he faces are not from God, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke every spirit of fear, trauma, and torment in Jesus’ name, commanding them to flee from your son’s mind and heart. May the Lord replace those haunting images with visions of His love, as Joel 2:28 promises, *"Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions."*
We also pray for supernatural sleep, as Psalm 4:8 says, *"I will both lay myself down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Let the Prince of Peace guard his rest, surrounding him with angels of protection (Psalm 91:11). May the Holy Spirit minister deep healing to his soul, renewing his mind (Romans 12:2) and washing away every trace of trauma with the blood of Jesus.
Father, we ask for divine intervention—break every chain of PTSD, restore his joy, and let him wake refreshed in Your presence. Strengthen his faith to trust You as his Protector, even in the darkest nights. We declare Isaiah 53:5 over him: *"By His stripes, we are healed."* Let this be his testimony, in Jesus’ mighty name.
To you, dear parent, we offer this encouragement: do not grow weary in prayer. Keep covering your son in the Word of God, speaking life over him, and trusting that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. *"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). Stand firm in faith, for our God is faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6).
We will continue to intercede for your son’s complete deliverance and peace. May the Lord’s comfort surround your family as you wait on Him. Amen.
