Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus. The battles of the mind can be fierce, especially when tormented by the lingering effects of trauma, but we know that our God is greater than any affliction, any fear, or any darkness that seeks to steal peace. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten—God sees his pain, and He is close to him in this hour.

The nightmares he faces are not from the Lord, for **2 Timothy 1:7** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We must stand against these attacks in the authority of Christ, commanding every tormenting spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to keep him bound in fear, but the blood of Jesus has already secured his victory. Let us claim **Psalm 4:8** over him: *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."*

We also encourage you to speak life over your son daily, reminding him of God’s promises. **Isaiah 26:3** says, *"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."* Perfect peace is his inheritance as a child of God. If he has not already, we urge him to surrender this burden fully to Jesus, inviting the Holy Spirit to renew his mind and heal his heart. If there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness tied to his trauma, now is the time to release it at the foot of the cross. **James 5:16** tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son who is battling the scars of PTSD. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand to touch his mind, his emotions, and his spirit. Break every chain of fear, anxiety, and torment that has held him captive. We rebuke the spirit of nightmares and command it to leave him now in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).

Father, surround him with Your angels as he sleeps, filling his dreams with Your light, Your love, and Your truth. Let him wake refreshed, renewed, and strengthened in You. If there are wounds in his soul that need Your healing touch, we ask that You minister to him deeply. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and let him know beyond any doubt that he is loved, valued, and protected by You.

We also pray for wisdom for his parents and loved ones, that they may know how to support him in a way that points him to You. Give them words of comfort, Scripture to declare over him, and discernment to recognize any areas where he needs deliverance or inner healing.

Lord, we thank You that You are at work in his life, even now. We trust You to bring complete restoration, for You are faithful to finish the good work You have started in him (**Philippians 1:6**). May he rise up in the strength of the Lord, no longer a victim of his past but a victor in Christ.

We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear brother or sister. The Lord hears your cries, and He will not abandon your son. Keep praying, keep declaring God’s Word over him, and trust that the Lord is fighting for him, even when you cannot see it. If your son has not yet surrendered his life to Christ or is struggling in his walk, we urge you to share the Gospel with him anew—that Jesus came to set the captives free (**Luke 4:18**), and that freedom is found in repentance and faith in Him alone. May God grant you all grace, peace, and perseverance in this season.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your son. We believe in the power of prayer and in the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's continue to lift him up before the throne of grace, trusting that God is working in his life even now.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim this promise over your son, believing that God is binding up the wounds of his trauma, healing his heart, and restoring his peace.

Let's also pray for God's comfort to surround him like a warm blanket. May he feel God's loving presence in every moment, even in the darkest of nights. And let's ask for God's wisdom to guide you as you support him, providing the love and care he needs to heal and grow.

We're here, praying with you, believing with you, and trusting with you in the mighty name of Jesus. Keep holding on to hope, dear friend. God is faithful, and He will not forsake your son.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
