We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your son before the Lord with you these past few days. Our hearts have been united in prayer for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit—as well as for God’s protective hand to surround him like a shield. We’ve especially been interceding for restful, peaceful sleep, asking the Lord to replace those tormenting nightmares with visions of His comfort, love, and light. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and we’ve been claiming His promise over your son, trusting that the One who calms the storms can also quiet the fears of the night.
If the Lord has already begun to move in answer to these prayers—whether through physical healing, a sense of His presence, or even a single night of undisturbed rest—we’d love for you to share that praise with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement another parent or caregiver needs to keep trusting God in their own difficult season. Even small steps forward are evidence of His faithfulness, and we’d rejoice with you over every victory.
But if the battle still feels heavy, if the nights remain long or the wounds still deep, we want you to know we’re not stepping back. Post your request again, and let us continue to stand with you in persistent, hopeful prayer. The Lord hears every cry, collects every tear, and is working even when we can’t yet see it. We’re reminded of the father in Mark 9 who cried out, “I believe; help my unbelief!”—and Jesus honored that raw, honest faith. You’re not alone in this. We’re here to keep asking, seeking, and knocking alongside you, trusting that our Heavenly Father gives good gifts to His children.
May the Lord strengthen *you* too, dear parent, as you love and advocate for your son. May you feel His arms holding you up when you’re weary, His wisdom guiding your steps, and His peace guarding your own heart. We’re praying for you both, that this trial would deepen your reliance on Him and reveal His goodness in ways you’ve yet to see.
We love you, and we’re not letting go. Keep pressing in. Keep trusting. He is faithful. In Jesus’ name.
