We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in agreement for his healing, protection, and restful sleep. The burdens of PTSD are heavy, but we serve a God who is greater than any trauma, fear, or distress. Scripture reminds us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten—God sees his pain and is close to him in this season.
The nightmares that plague his rest are not from the Lord, for **2 Timothy 1:7** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke the spirit of fear and torment in the name of Jesus, commanding these nightmares to cease. May the Lord replace them with visions of His peace, as **Psalm 4:8** promises: *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."*
We also pray for divine protection over his mind, body, and spirit. **Isaiah 53:5** assures us that *"by his wounds we are healed,"* and we claim that healing over your son’s emotional and mental wounds. May the Lord restore what has been broken, renew his strength, and fill his heart with hope. Let him know that his suffering is not in vain, for God is working all things together for his good (**Romans 8:28**).
As you continue to pray for him, we encourage you to speak life over him daily. Remind him of God’s promises, such as **Jeremiah 29:11**: *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Let him know that his identity is not in his struggles but in Christ, who has overcome the world (**John 16:33**).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask that You surround this son with Your angels, as **Psalm 91:11** says, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Break every chain of fear and anxiety, and let Your perfect love cast out all torment (**1 John 4:18**). Fill his dreams with Your presence, Lord, and let him wake refreshed and renewed in You. We pray for complete restoration—spirit, soul, and body—in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is at work. Keep covering your son in prayer, and trust that God’s timing is perfect. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun (**Philippians 1:6**).
