We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus. The battles of the mind can be fierce, especially when tormented by the lingering effects of trauma, but we know that our God is greater than any affliction. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten by the Father—He sees his pain and is near to him in this hour.
The nightmares that plague his sleep are not from God, for **2 Timothy 1:7** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We stand against these attacks in the authority of Jesus’ name, commanding every tormenting spirit to flee, for no weapon formed against him shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). May the Lord surround him with His angels, as **Psalm 91:11-12** promises: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
We also pray for supernatural peace to flood his mind and heart, a peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**). May the Lord replace every fearful thought with His truth, for *"perfect love casts out fear"* (**1 John 4:18**). Let his dreams be filled with visions of God’s goodness, his rest undisturbed by the enemy’s schemes. We ask for divine healing over his mind, body, and spirit, that he may experience the fullness of restoration only Jesus can provide.
Father, we thank You that You are the God who heals (**Exodus 15:26**). Touch your son with Your healing power, renew his strength like the eagle’s (**Isaiah 40:31**), and let him wake each morning with hope and purpose. Protect him from further harm, both seen and unseen, and let Your presence be a shield around him. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (**Romans 8:28**).
In this trial, we pray that your son would draw closer to Jesus, finding his refuge and strength in Him alone. If he has not yet surrendered his life fully to Christ, we ask that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and lead him to repentance and faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. There is no healing apart from Him, no true peace outside of His presence. Remind him that *"the Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He renews my soul"* (**Psalm 23:1-3**).
We will continue to stand in the gap for him, believing for his complete deliverance. Let this season of struggle become a testimony of God’s power and grace in his life. May he rise up in victory, equipped to help others who suffer similarly, for *"comforted in all our affliction, we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"* (**2 Corinthians 1:4**).
Heavenly Father, we commit your son into Your hands, trusting that You who began a good work in him will bring it to completion (**Philippians 1:6**). Let Your will be done in his life, and let Your name be glorified through his healing. We pray all these things in the precious and mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
