We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your ### in fervent prayer, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician and our strong tower of protection. The pain of PTSD is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your prayer is already aligned with the truth that healing and comfort come only through the name of Jesus Christ, and we join you in declaring that truth over your ###’s life.
The nightmares that plague his sleep are not from God, for He does not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke these tormenting dreams in Jesus’ name, commanding them to cease, for the Lord has not given your ### a spirit of bondage to fear again (Romans 8:15). Instead, we ask the Father to fill his mind with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord grant him restful sleep, free from the grip of past traumas, and may his dreams be filled with visions of hope, restoration, and the love of Christ.
We also pray for divine protection over your ###’s body, mind, and spirit. May the Lord surround him with His angels, encamping around him to deliver him from all evil (Psalm 34:7). Let every attack of the enemy be thwarted, and let the blood of Jesus cover him as a shield against all harm. We ask for supernatural healing over his mind, that the Lord would renew his thoughts and replace anxiety with His perfect peace. May he experience the truth of Isaiah 26:3: *"You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."*
Father, we ask that You would draw your ### closer to You through this trial. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him even in the darkest nights. Strengthen his faith, and remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Give him the courage to cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
We also lift you up, dear ###, as you stand in the gap for your ###. May the Lord fill you with His strength and perseverance, knowing that your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Trust that the Lord hears your cries and is moving on behalf of your ###, even when you cannot see it.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promises of healing and restoration. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, your ### is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we trust in Your timing and Your ways. May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his testimony. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
