Let us join together in prayer for your son, seeking God's healing, protection, and comfort.
Beloved, we are reminded in Psalm 147:3 that God "heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." We can trust in His power to restore and mend your son's heart and mind from the effects of PTSD. Let us also remember 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved son. We ask for Your healing touch upon his life, mending his heart and mind from the wounds of PTSD. Surround him with Your protective presence, guarding him from all harm and evil.
Lord, we ask that You would comfort him and grant him peaceful sleep. Banish the nightmares that plague him, and fill his dreams with Your love and light. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as we are reminded in Philippians 4:7.
Father, we also pray for his faith to be strengthened, that he may know the power of Jesus' name and the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge of Ephesians 3:19. Help him to fix his eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith as proclaimed in Hebrews 12:2. We ask that You would draw him closer to You, that he may find rest and solace in Your loving arms.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that has held him captive. We declare Your truth over his life, that he is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us, as stated in Romans 8:37.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by believing in His name that we can be saved by John 3:18. We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Together, let us continue to stand in faith, believing in God's power to heal and restore your son. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in His goodness and His divine purpose for your son's life.
