We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the scripture in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Jesus is the ultimate source of comfort and healing. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. In Acts 4:12 WEB, we read, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This is why it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, as you have done.
For your son's healing, we pray Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust that the Lord will heal his mind and comfort his being.
For his protection, we declare Psalm 91:1-4 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
For peaceful sleep, we pray Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh, alone keep me safe."
If your son has not already, we encourage him to put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life.
We pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing, comfort, and protection for this dear son. Surround his heart and mind with Your peace, banish the nightmares, and grant him peaceful sleep. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, and help him to walk in the newness of life with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous in the Lord knowing He is with you and your son. May God Bless your son and his relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
