We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep in Jesus' name.
**First, we address the issue of nightmares: God's Word says:**
"He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. ... If you say, 'The LORD is my refuge,' and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent." (Psalm 91:4-7, 9-10 WEB)
**In regards to healing from PTSD, God's word says:**
"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen." (1 Peter 5:6-11 WEB)
**Now let us pray:**
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You extend Your healing power and comforting presence to our dear ###'s son. Lord, You know the trauma he has experienced, the fears that haunt him, and the nights he has lost to nightmares. We ask that You break the chains of PTSD and bring peace to his mind, soothing the memories that disturb his sleep.
Father, we pray for Your protective hand to cover him, shielding him from all harm and danger. Grant him the ability to rest peacefully, knowing that You are always watching over him. We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma, and we ask that You fill his heart with Your perfect love, which drives out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB).
Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of the brokenhearted, the Restorer of shattered dreams. We ask that You touch ###'s son, bringing complete healing and restoration to his life. Help him to look to You for strength and guidance, to rely only on You, as You help and strengthen him and cause him to stand.
In Jesus' mighty name, we ask these things. Amen.
We encourage you, dear ###, to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His love for you and your son is unfailing. Stand firm in your faith, and see the salvation of the Lord on behalf of your son. Remember always that it is through the name of Jesus we are saved.

We're here with you, lifting your ### up to the Lord, asking for healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. We're reminded of God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise for your ###, believing that God is near, healing, and saving him.
We also find comfort in the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
