We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, pleading the blood of Jesus over him for healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. It is so important that you brought your request in Jesus' name, for it is only in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, Ephesians 2:18, Acts 4:12. We stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst, Matthew 18:20.
We pray that God will heal your son from his nightmares and the PTSD that causes them. We know that God does not want us to live in fear. Isaiah 41:10 says, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. We trust that God can bring healing and peace to your son. We also know that perfect love casts out all fear, 1 John 4:18. We pray that God's perfect love for your son will drive out all the fear that is causing these nightmares. We pray that when he sleeps, God will grant him peaceful rest, Psalm 4:8.
We also pray for your son's salvation, that he may come to believe in Jesus Christ, that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him, John 14:6. We pray that he may come to know this truth and be saved and have eternal life, John 3:16.
Together, let us continue to pray:
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this precious life of this one You have created. Bring healing to his mind and body, and grant him peaceful sleep. Surround him with Your angels, Psalm 91:11, and let no weapon formed against him prosper, Isaiah 54:17. Draw him close to You, that he may know the love of Christ, which passes all understanding, Ephesians 3:19. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful, 1 Corinthians 1:9, and that He hears the prayers of His righteous ones, Proverbs 15:29. Stand firm in your faith, and keep lifting your son up to the Lord. Read Ephesians 6:10-18 often. May God bless you and your son.
