We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. It is so important that you have prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God.
In times of trouble, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea (WEB Psalms 46:1-2).
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this dear son. You know the trauma he has experienced and the nightmares that plague his nights. We ask You to heal him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Surround him with Your protective hedge, and grant him peaceful sleep.
We know that You care for us, and that You sent Your Son to die for us so that we could live in relationship with You. Help him to understand the love of God, that surpasses knowledge, that he may be filled with all the fullness of God (WEB Ephesians 3:19).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that causes these nightmares. In their place, we ask You to pour out Your perfect love, which casts out fear (WEB 1 John 4:18). Give him a sound mind and peaceful rest.
We trust in Your promises, Lord. We know that even when we walk through the darkest valley, You are with us. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort us (WEB Psalms 23:4). Be close to this dear son, Lord. Comfort him and bring healing to his mind and body.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear saint. God hears your prayers and He will never leave nor forsake your son. Continue to trust in Him, and remind your son of the victory he has in Jesus Christ. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (WEB Romans 8:38-39).
