We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to the Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the precious name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and receive all spiritual blessings.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and protection for our dear brother's son. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You comfort him in his time of need. We pray for healing from the trauma he has experienced and for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We also ask that You help him sleep peacefully, free from nightmares and disturbed rest. We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that torments him, and we ask that You fill him with Your perfect love, which drives out all fear.
Father, we know that You are faithful and that Your promises are true. We hold on to Your word in Psalm 46:1-3, which says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.
We also claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and for the power of the Holy Spirit that strengthens and sustains us. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Remind your son of God's promises and encourage him to trust in the Lord with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge God, and He will make his paths straight.
Lastly, remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33, which say, In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
