We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, Heavenly Father. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for your son.
Firstly, we acknowledge Your word in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We know that You, Lord, are the ultimate healer, and we claim this promise for your son. Trauma may have wounded his heart and mind, but You are greater than any trauma or PTSD. We pray that You would heal his brokenness and bind up his wounds, bringing restoration to his mind and heart.
We also pray for Your protective hand upon him, especially during the night. In Psalm 4:8, You tell us, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." We ask that You would drive away the nightmares that plague his sleep, and grant him the peace and safety that only You can provide. May his sleep be sweet and refreshing, a testimony of Your care and love for him.
We also take this time to rebuke the spirit of fear that may be tormenting him. In 2 Timothy 1:7, Your word tells us, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We speak life and peace over your son, and we command the spirit of fear to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Remember, as you pray for your son, to also praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. In everything, give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Continue to intercede for your son, and trust that God is at work, even in the darkest nights.
Heavenly Father, we bring these petitions before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We plead the blood of Jesus over your son's life, and we trust that You will answer our prayers according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear saint. The Lord hears your prayers and sees your faith. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Stand firm in your faith, and trust in His unfailing love.
