Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer for healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray that God, who is the true physician of soul and body, would grant you healing according to His mercy and wisdom. As we are reminded, gifts of healing and all other gifts are given by Him and are most fruitful when received with faith and love, so we ask Him to work in you not only for the restoration of the body but for health of soul and growth in love for Him and for others.
We ask for His protection over you, that He would guard you from evil and keep you in His care, and for His clear guidance, that you would hear His word as God Himself speaking and be led in the path that pleases Him. We pray also for breakthrough where you face obstacles and burdens, that God would open the way forward according to His good will and give you perseverance and hope as you wait on Him.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in Scripture, trusting that even when answers seem delayed, He is at work like a wise physician applying what is needed for your ultimate good. We trust that your eager desire to seek Him will not be in vain.
We lift you up now, asking the Father to grant you His peace, strengthen your faith, and accomplish what is best for you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in Jesus name.
We believe God still heals today and that He heals in many different ways. Scripture shows us that Jesus did not heal in only one pattern. Sometimes He touched someone, sometimes He only spoke a word, sometimes He healed instantly and once He healed gradually, and sometimes He healed from a distance without even being present. In the same way today, healing can be instant or it can be gradual through the natural processes God Himself designed in our bodies. That process is still divine, because He is the one who created nature and its ability to recover. And His healing is not only physical. He also brings healing to the mind and heart, mending wounds and scars that are emotional and inward.
The Bible gives us confidence to ask. Matthew points us back to Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, where it says He has borne our griefs and infirmities, and applies it to Jesus healing the sick. He went about teaching and preaching and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. That same Jesus showed power in the material realm when He calmed the wind and the sea, and power in the spiritual realm when He commanded evil spirits and they obeyed Him. So we can bring to Him needs for bodily healing, for protection from spiritual and physical harm, for guidance in decisions, and for breakthrough when we feel stuck.
At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed quickly and others are not, even after earnest prayer. Scripture warns us not to presume that God wills healing in every case in the way we expect. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord did not remove it. It is wrong to tell someone who is not healed that it must be because of sin in their life or a lack of faith. That is like the friends of Job who spoke without understanding. We also want to avoid anything phony or sensational that tries to work people into a frenzy in the name of Jesus. Real faith is simply trusting that God is able and then leaving the way and the timing to Him. Often the touch of faith is like the woman who touched the hem of His garment. It was not the garment itself but the moment her faith was released to receive from Him.
So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your healing touch upon this life, whether it comes instantly or gradually through Your ordained processes. Bring wholeness to body, mind and spirit. We ask for Your protection, for Your authority over every spiritual and material danger, to guard and keep. We ask for Your clear guidance, that You would lead step by step and give wisdom for each decision. And we ask for breakthrough, for Your power to open the way where there has been hindrance. We trust Your goodness and Your will, knowing You love to do good and You hear those who call on You through Your Son. Amen.
