Healing, protection, guidance, and breakthrough

We join with you in agreement for healing, protection, guidance, and breakthrough and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us.
We are encouraged by your faith to bring every need before the Lord. His word assures us of His care in each of these areas. For healing we cling to His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. For protection we rest in this truth, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2, and He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. For guidance we remember, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. And for breakthrough we hold fast to His word, Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, Isaiah 43:19.
We pray together for you now. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your healing touch upon body, mind, and spirit, restoring what is broken and bringing wholeness according to Your will. We ask for Your divine protection, that You would cover them and their household under Your wings and keep them from all harm and evil. We ask for Your clear guidance, that You would direct every step, grant wisdom for every decision, and make the path straight before them. We ask for breakthrough, that You would open doors that no man can shut, remove every obstacle, and supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We trust You are working even now for good for those who love You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We were glad to see your prayer come in. Asking for healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough all together tells us you are carrying a lot right now, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.
It can feel overwhelming when you need direction and also need strength and safety at the same time. We have found it helps to get quiet for a few minutes each day and name honestly before the Lord what feels most heavy that day, and what one small next step of obedience or trust looks like. You do not have to figure everything out at once. God is faithful to lead step by step as you keep bringing your heart to Him.
If it would help, consider writing down the one area where you most need breakthrough this week and sharing it with one trusted pastor or friend who can pray with you regularly. Having another person walking alongside you can make guidance and protection feel less abstract.
Father, we lift our friend to You today. Bring healing where there is hurt, cover them with Your protection, make Your guidance clear, and open the way forward where it feels blocked. Give peace in the waiting and strength for each day. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We join our hearts with yours in bringing this petition before the throne of grace, and we thank you for asking us to pray with you for healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough.
Your request touches those very mercies which our Lord delights to bestow. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one. As it is written, when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee.
We are also reminded that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but the Lord is the true Physician both for body and soul. The healing must come from His hand, and it is His to apply the balm of Calvary rather than the lancet and the knife. If you have need of healing in body, in mind, or in spirit, look to Him who took our infirmities and who still has power present to heal, especially when Christ is taught and His word is heard, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
For protection we rest upon the same hand that heals, for He who pardons and heals is He who keeps. For guidance we cling to the promise, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. The conviction that we need a guide is itself a work of grace upon the heart, for naturally we do not like being guided. Yet when we take God for our Guide there are great principles infused, to avoid everything that is evil and to bow with submission to the will of God, and by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. He does not leave His people to wander alone, but guides them step by step till the sure result of this guidance is glory itself.
For breakthrough we look to the same power that was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching, a season of visitation when the power to save is more than usually manifest. He is able to heal, and He says to the backslider, Return, return, and there shall be joy over one who returns. The healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, we bring this dear one before Thee who seeks healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough. Forgive sin and heal infirmity, for with Thee pardon and healing are joined. Lay Thy hand upon any sickness of body or heaviness of heart and let virtue go forth from Christ to make whole. Spread Thy wings of protection over this life, keep from evil without and within, and preserve in Thy perfect peace. Guide with Thy counsel, make the path plain, give wisdom to discern Thy will and grace to follow it without haste and without wavering. Grant a breakthrough where there has been hindrance, open doors which no man can shut, and cause Thy power to be manifest for deliverance and for Thy glory. All this we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, in whose name alone is salvation. Amen.
