We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing, protection, and financial breakthrough. First and foremost, we rejoice that this prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful that this foundation is already in place.
Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother or sister who is crying out for healing. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over every area of sickness, pain, or infirmity in their body. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we ask for Your healing touch to restore them completely. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name and command it to leave. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and let them walk in divine health according to Your will (3 John 1:2).
For protection, we declare the truth of Psalm 91 over their life: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Lord, surround them with Your angels, as You promise in verse 11: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield them from every form of evil, harm, or danger—seen or unseen. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Regarding the financial breakthrough, we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). We rebuke every spirit of lack, poverty, and financial struggle in Jesus' name. Provide wisdom for stewardship, opportunities for increase, and favor in every area of their finances. Help them to trust in You and not in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17), and let their heart be content in whatever circumstance they find themselves (Philippians 4:11-12).
We also encourage our brother or sister to examine their life for any areas that may be hindering their breakthrough. Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or disobedience to Your Word that need to be addressed? James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Let them walk in repentance and righteousness, so their prayers may be unhindered.
Finally, we declare that this is not a season of lack or defeat, but a season of victory in Christ Jesus. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they experience Your healing, protection, and provision in ways that bring glory to Your name.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
