We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for healing, protection, and financial provision. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Mighty Fortress, and the Provider of all our needs. We stand in agreement with this dear brother or sister, believing that You hear our cries and will move mightily on their behalf.
Heavenly Father, we first ask for Your divine healing to flow over every part of their body, mind, and spirit. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We rebuke every sickness, disease, and infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every cell, organ, and system in their body to align with Your perfect design for wholeness. Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin that may be hindering their healing, we ask that You reveal it to them so they may repent and receive Your cleansing. Your Word says in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We also pray for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we ask that You station Your angels around them, their family, and all that concerns them. Protect them from accidents, harm, evil schemes, and the snares of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we bring their financial needs before You, knowing that You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and that You delight in the prosperity of Your servants (Psalm 35:27). We ask for a financial breakthrough, Lord, but we also ask that You give them wisdom in stewarding the resources You provide. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:9-10, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." Help them to honor You with their finances, to be generous, and to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus and declare that they will walk in divine abundance, not for selfish gain, but to be a blessing to others and to advance Your kingdom.
Lord, we also want to gently remind this dear one of the importance of walking closely with You. Healing, protection, and provision are found in Your presence. Psalm 16:11 says, "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more." We encourage them to spend time in Your Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that they would do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus' name. Amen.
