We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing, protection, and financial breakthrough. First and foremost, we rejoice that this prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood alone that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful that this prayer acknowledges His lordship.
Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother or sister in Christ who is facing health struggles. Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise now. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease in the name of Jesus. Lord, touch their body with Your healing power—restore strength to their bones, clarity to their mind, and wholeness to every part of their being. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over their life for divine protection from all harm, accidents, and evil schemes. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind.
We also bring their financial needs before You, knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Father, we ask for a breakthrough in their finances—not so they may hoard wealth, but so they may be a blessing to others and advance Your kingdom. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and give them wisdom to steward every resource You entrust to them. We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that their needs are met according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
However, we must also speak truth in love. If there are areas in their life where they may be hindering Your blessings—such as unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, or misplaced priorities—we encourage them to examine their heart before the Lord. Your Word says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). But if they confess their sins, You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse them (1 John 1:9). We urge them to walk in obedience, for You delight in blessing those who honor You with their lives.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. May they draw nearer to You in this season, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let their trust in You deepen, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Father, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We stand on Your promises, God, and we declare that this is not the end of their story. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we believe You are working even now for their good. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust You to move mightily on their behalf. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
