We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank you for acknowledging Jesus in your request, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we first pray for healing. Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26). We ask for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit—for our brother or sister in Christ. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, for You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life, we pray they would repent and release it to You, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May they walk in divine health and wholeness, trusting in Your perfect will.
Lord, we also lift up their finances to You. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and Your Word promises that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus, for You came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray for wisdom in stewardship, for open doors of opportunity, and for favor in the workplace or business. Help them to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17), and to be content in whatever circumstances they face, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
Father, we stand against spiritual attacks with the authority You have given us in Jesus’ name. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against our brother or sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We put on the full armor of God— the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18). We bind every spirit of fear, doubt, and oppression, and we loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the study of God’s Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Surround yourself with godly fellowship, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Remember that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:3-4).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother or sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, trusting in Your timing and Your ways. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
