We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing, protection, and financial provision. First and foremost, we rejoice that this prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that this request acknowledges His authority and power.
Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of our brother or sister in Christ who is in need of Your healing touch. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand and bring restoration to every area of their body, mind, and spirit that is afflicted. Whether it be physical pain, emotional turmoil, or spiritual weariness, we trust in Your promise to heal and make whole. Lord, we also pray for wisdom for their medical caregivers, that they would be guided by Your Spirit in all decisions and treatments.
We stand in agreement for financial increase, knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Lord, grant them wisdom in stewardship, discernment in financial decisions, and favor in their work and endeavors. We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus' name, declaring that they will not be in want but will walk in the abundance You have promised.
We also take authority over every spiritual attack that may be coming against them. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, and stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. Lord, surround them with Your angels, that they may encamp around them and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). We bind every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement, and we loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We encourage you, dear one, to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is faithful to His promises. Continue to seek Him through prayer and the reading of His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:3-4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace that are new every morning. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon them. Restore their health, renew their strength, and fill them with Your peace. Lord, we also ask for Your provision in their finances. Open doors of opportunity, grant them favor, and meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Protect them from every spiritual attack, surrounding them with Your angels and filling them with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen their faith, increase their trust in You, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that they will walk in the victory that is theirs through Christ Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
