healing, protection and guidance

I live just outside of portland Oregon and have been unemployed for six months. As so many others, I dont know what to do about this. Luckily I have friends and family to take care of me, but I feel so depressed and helpless. Im 31 and living with my 82 yr old grandmother who needs my help right now, but she is eventually going to be moving into assisted living. Im not sure what to do, where to go. Hopefully things turn around soon. I know that God doesnt have recessions and he will provide, but sometimes it is so hard to see. Could definetly use some covering regarding depression. Somedays I don't even see a point in getting out of bed. thank you. Blessings!

Lord I pray that you will open up your will to Tom. Please show him the way to walk and help him walk in it. Lord please help him grow in this experience to your glory. Lord may he and his grandmother find strength in you and each other. In Jesus name I pray

May Tom enjoy his time with his Grandma as long as he can. (I miss mine.) I ask for this depression to lift off of him, in Your name. May he know he has not been forgotten! Bring about finances for him, Dear Lord.We trust You to be faithful. You are our Jehovah-Jirah, Our Provider. We love You and look to You for all good things. You are faithful and The Father of Lights!

Lord, I stand in agreement with these prayers. I pray the windows of heaven will open when the time is right and Tom needs to move on. Right now, he needs to be with his precious grandma. What a blessing you have given him to enjoy her company and find out about her life. I pray your protection over Tom. Give him wisdom and discernment to make the right choices as they come along. Give him peace knowing you are in control and that you have great plans for his life. Thank you, Lord. Amen

Tom, I have been unemployed since October 13, 2008 I can certainly relate to your prayer request. I want to testify to you and all of my prayer partners GOD IS GOOD! When I lost my job my mother became very sick she had to have three stints put in, she has moderate Parkinson's as well as Dementia. I was able to set aside my depression regarding myself and put her needs first, this helped me get through my own pain. My Mom is doing a little bit better now and this morning I just got a call regarding a new job and a new career! Everything happens for a reason right now you are helping a loved one and God is going to take good care of you too! God, father in heaven please bless Tom with direction, strength, a new job and a home to call his own in your Holy name I pray, Amen!
