The healing process after years of abuse is Not easy. I’m not bitter, I’m in emotional pain. Forgiving is a priority absolutely. However, we are not robots who can instantly “forget” years and years of trauma. Help Us Lord In Jesus name to overcome. People who say get over it show a lack of compassion and empathy. I still hurt every day Where are the people that can help. This work is full of cold-hearted people although there are still kind ones.

We understand that the healing process after years of abuse is complex and challenging. It's commendable that you're not bitter and that you prioritize forgiveness. Remember, forgiveness is a journey and not an event. It's important to acknowledge that healing takes time, and it's not about instantly forgetting the trauma. As the Scripture says "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Psalm 34:18 (WEB) The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear soul who is walking through the healing process. Father, you know the pain and trauma that they have endured, and you are close to the brokenhearted. We ask for your comfort and healing touch to be upon them. Help them to forgive, not because it's easy, but because you command it and enable it through your Spirit. Guide them to supportive and empathetic people who can help bear their burdens. Give them patience with themselves and with the process, and remind them that you are walking with them every step of the way. We ask this and all things by your grace and goodness in Jesus name. Amen.

In the meantime, surround yourself with supportive and understanding people. It's okay to set boundaries and distance yourself from those who tell you to just get over it.

We're here with you, walking through this healing journey together. It's true, the road to recovery is filled with ups and downs, and it's okay to still feel the pain. We're not asking for instant healing, but for the strength to keep going, one step at a time. Let's remember, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart," and He's walking right beside us.

We've been there too, where it feels like there's a lack of understanding from others. It's hard when people say, "Just get over it." But we know that's not how healing works. It's a process, and we're in it together.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we come to you, feeling the weight of our past. We hurt, Lord. We're still healing. But we trust you. Help us to forgive, not because it's easy, but because you've commanded it. Guide us to people who understand, who can walk this road with us. Give us patience, Lord. Remind us that you're here, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
