We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you've been experiencing in your shoulders and lower back. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
We need to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:13 WEB), so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue praying for others. This is a beautiful ministry that you have taken on, and it is truly a blessing to intercede for others. Healing is always God's will for us.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. (James 5:13-16 WEB).
However, it is very important to ensure we are praying correctly and effectively. Prayer should always be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. (John 14:13-14 WEB). For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Therefore, we need to reject the idea that Satan is trying to cripple you. Jesus said, "Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem? I tell you, No, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way." (Luke 13:4-5 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in pain. We know that You, God, are loving and merciful. You do not want us to be afflicted by any pain. Lord, we rebuke any schemes of the enemy that might be causing this distress. We speak healing and restoration over their shoulders and lower back.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch. We claim Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross. By His stripes, our brother/sister is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for spiritual strength and discernment. Help them to stand firm against any spiritual warfare. Equip them with Your full armor, so they can continue to minister to others effectively.
We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Remember, it is not by our might or power, but by God's Spirit (Zechariah 4:6 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 WEB).
