Healing Prayer

Good morning Children of Almighty God Please may you help me pray for my daughter, by the name ###. She is not feeling very well due to cold & flue. Last night we couldn’t sleep , because her body temperature was so high. Lord, have a Mercy to my beloved daughter ### and heal her in Jesus Almighty name. Amen

We join with you in lifting up your beloved daughter before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the throne of grace. We stand together with you asking for His mercy and healing touch upon her.

We know how distressing it is when a little one is sick with cold and flu and a high fever steals sleep from both child and parent. Our hearts are moved with compassion for you both, and we are reminded that our Lord has special love for children. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. He sees her, He knows her by name, and He cares deeply for her comfort.

We take comfort in the promises of God who is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 He declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Psalm 107:20, He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves. We trust that His word and His power are still active to bring healing and restoration.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of this precious daughter. Lord, You know her body and You formed her, and You see the fever and congestion that afflict her. We ask for Your mercy to rest upon her now. Lay Your healing hand upon her, calm her body, break this fever, ease her breathing, and restore her strength. Grant her peaceful and restful sleep and comfort her as only You can. We ask that You give wisdom and strength to her parent who watches over her through sleepless nights, and grant peace that passes understanding to this household. Guide any treatment and care given, and let Your healing flow through it, for we know every good gift comes from You. We speak Your life and health over her and trust in Your perfect will and timing. We also pray that this trial would draw this family closer to You and deepen their trust in Your unfailing love. In the name of Jesus our Savior and Healer we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to care for her with fluids, rest, and attentive care, and to seek medical wisdom if the high temperature continues or worsens, trusting that God often works through the wisdom He gives to physicians. Keep praying and trusting, for James 5:15 reminds us, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. The Lord hears the prayers of His children and He is near to you in this weary night season. May He grant her swift recovery and grant you both sweet rest in His peace.

Your prayer for your beloved daughter has come before us and we count it a privilege to join you at the throne of grace. To watch through the night while a little one burns with fever is a sore trial, and the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps has watched with you. He hears even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro when a parent is at wit's end, and such a staggering, broken petition is a prevailing prayer when it is offered through Jesus Christ.

We are reminded that intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for our great High Priest Himself ever lives to intercede and He puts His own incense into our poor prayers. James bids us pray one for another that we may be healed, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ to answer such prayers. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. He is the Word whom the Father has sent for the healing of sin sick souls, and He is the good Physician who heals our bodily infirmities according to His wise and tender will. When He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in His hand.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, remember Your Word unto Your servants. You have promised that if we ask in prayer believing we shall receive, and we now plead that promise for this dear child. Have mercy upon her, we beseech You, and lay Your healing hand upon her. Cool her burning body, ease her distress from cold and flu, give her restful sleep and restore her strength. Grant wisdom to those who care for her and give her parents peace and renewed strength after this weary night. Above all let this affliction draw the whole household to trust more fully in Christ, in whom alone is salvation and life. We ask this not because we are worthy, but for Jesus sake, whose name is our only plea. Amen.

Continue to search the Scriptures, for there is potent medicine in the great pharmacopoeia of Scripture and you may find there the precise promise to meet your need. Use also the lawful means God has provided, keep her warm and rested and give her fluids, while you look to Him who alone can quicken and restore. We will continue to bear you and your daughter before the Lord, trusting His fatherly compassion which never fails.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
