We are truly sorry to hear about your dad's condition, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. As it is only by His name that we have access to the Father. In fact, it is only by His name that we can be saved. As the WEB says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In moments like these, we can find comfort in the promises of God's word. Let's remember in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up to You the father of our friend who is currently in the ICU. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon him. We command the seizures to stop and not hinder him. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You will guide the medical team and give them wisdom in their decisions. We pray for his body to respond positively to the treatments and for a miraculous recovery.
We also pray for strength and comfort for his family during this challenging time. Help them to trust in You and to feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask and believe, we have already received, what we've asked in Jesus' name, according to Mark 11:24.
Also Lord, we pray Psalm 29:11, "The Lord will give strength to his people. The Lord will bless his people with peace." Thank you so much for the hope that we have and are assured of in Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any plan of the enemy to cause doubt, fear, or discouragement. We declare that God's will shall be established in his life and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper according to Isaiah 54:17.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, knowing that God is in control. Trust in His goodness and mercy. Remember that He promises to never leave you nor forsake you.
