Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We have received your request and we are joining you in prayer for your friend and for her child in this very difficult time.
We bring her before our merciful Father, asking that He would lay His healing hand upon her. We know that nothing is beyond His power, and that He is able to heal even when doctors see no way forward. We pray that if it is His will, He would grant a miracle of healing, restore her health, and give her more time with her family. We also pray for peace and strength for her, for comfort that guards her heart in Christ, and for the assurance of His presence each day.
We pray for her child, that the Lord would surround this family with His care, provide for every need, and bring comfort and stability in the midst of fear and uncertainty. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and those caring for her, and for your church community as you support and encourage her.
We trust in the Lord who is compassionate and sovereign over all our days, who hears the prayers of His people and works all things for good for those who love Him. Even as we ask for healing, we ask for grace to trust His perfect will and to rest in His love.
We will continue to pray with you, asking God to bring healing, to sustain faith, and to make His comfort and hope known in this trial. May the Lord draw near to your friend and her family and fill them with His peace that passes all understanding.

Your request for your friend has been heard and my heart is moved by the weight of it, a mother facing such a serious illness in the brain with a young child who needs her, and the doctors speaking in terms of only months.
I want you to know that I believe God still heals today and that He is able. Scripture shows Jesus healing all kinds of sickness and ties that healing to what was foretold in Isaiah, that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. There is power in Him over the physical body and over every affliction, and nothing is beyond His reach, including disease in the brain, that marvelous organ He created to receive and interpret every part of our world.
At the same time I must be honest that there is much about healing I do not understand. I have seen miraculous healings where God touched instantly, I have seen gradual healings where the process unfolded over time and every step of healing was still from His hand, and I have also seen those who were not healed in this life and whom the Lord took home to Himself. I do not know why some receive one kind of healing and others another, that is not within my ability to explain. God often works in ways we do not expect, and His wisdom is beyond ours, but His love and His ability remain sure. I also want to say that true healing from God is not a matter of frenzy or showmanship, it is a quiet and holy work of His Spirit as faith looks to Jesus.
What Scripture does encourage is the kind of desperate, persistent faith of a mother who came to Jesus for her child. She was in great distress, her daughter was oppressed, and she would not be turned away. She kept pleading until she received from Him, and her faith triumphed. In another place people pressed to simply touch the hem of His garment, not because the cloth itself had power, but because it became a point where their faith was released to receive from Him. I encourage you to come to Jesus in that same way for your friend, to bring her and her child to Him again and again and not to go away until you have placed them fully in His hands.
Let us pray together now.
Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear mother before You, You know her name and You know her child. You see the growth in her brain and You know the fear and sorrow this has brought. Lord, You are the Creator of the body and the giver of life, and I ask that You would touch her and heal her according to Your mercy and power. If it be Your will, grant a miraculous work that the doctors cannot explain, or work through the treatments toward a gradual healing, lay Your hand upon her. Ease her pain, give her peace, and let her feel Your presence. I pray also for her child, surround this little one with Your care and protection, and comfort this family with the assurance that whether healing comes in this life or in Your eternal presence, You hold them. Give faith to those who are praying, that they would keep seeking You and trusting You. I ask this in the name of Jesus, who bore our sicknesses for us, amen.
