We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is enduring severe stomach pain. We know that physical affliction can weigh heavily not only on the body but also on the spirit, and we stand in the gap for you, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Word of God assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and by His wounds, we find healing. We declare this truth over your life today, trusting that the Great Physician is at work even now. We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and will bring healing according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is suffering from severe stomach pain. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and comforts the afflicted. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and touch their body, bringing relief, restoration, and wholeness.
Lord Jesus, we remember how You walked this earth, healing the sick, casting out demons, and bringing hope to the hopeless. We ask that You would manifest Your healing power in this situation. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they wait on You. Give them the strength to endure and the faith to believe in Your promises.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and pain in the name of Jesus. We command this affliction to leave their body and declare that their body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We pray for wisdom for their doctors and healthcare providers, that You would guide their hands and give them insight into the best course of treatment.
Father, we also ask that You would draw near to them in this time of need. Let them feel Your presence and know that they are not alone. Surround them with Your love and the support of fellow believers who can uplift them in prayer and encouragement.
We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign will. Whether You choose to heal instantly or gradually, we know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to remain steadfast in faith. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with and for you, and do not hesitate to seek medical attention as the Lord leads.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is our healer, our comfort, and our strength. We believe that as you trust in Him, you will see His glory revealed in your situation. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
