We lift up this dear brother or sister in Christ who is enduring physical pain, particularly in the stomach, belly, and lower body. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is right to seek the Lord’s healing touch when suffering comes. We know that our God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and He invites us to come boldly before His throne of grace in times of need.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for this child of Yours. You see every ache, every discomfort, and every moment of distress they are experiencing. We ask You, Lord, to stretch forth Your healing hand and bring complete restoration to their body. Touch their stomach, their belly, and every part of their lower body that is in pain. Let Your healing virtue flow through them like a river, washing away sickness and infirmity. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we speak life and wholeness over every cell, tissue, and organ that is affected.
We also recognize, Lord, that pain can sometimes be a signal that something deeper needs Your attention. If there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in their heart, we ask that You reveal it to them, that they may repent and receive Your cleansing. If this pain is the result of stress, anxiety, or worry, we pray that You would calm their spirit and fill them with Your perfect peace. Remind them, Lord, that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that may be attacking their body. In the name of Jesus, we command every pain to leave and every dysfunction to be made whole. We stand on Your Word, which declares, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15). We believe, Lord, that as we pray in faith, You are moving on their behalf.
We also encourage this dear one to seek wise medical counsel if they haven’t already. The Lord often works through doctors, medicine, and natural remedies to bring healing, and we should not neglect the resources He provides. But above all, we trust in You, the Great Physician, to guide their steps and bring about the best outcome for their health.
Lord, we also pray for strength and endurance during this time. Pain can be wearying, both physically and emotionally, but we know that You are their strength in weakness. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength, and remind them that this trial is temporary. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of their faith, and to trust in Your perfect timing for their healing.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are already at work in this situation, and we declare that this child of Yours will rise up in victory, testifying to Your goodness and faithfulness. May their healing bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
