Father we are poor, wreched, miserable, blind and naked as a country and in many ways as representations of The Christian Church and in even more instances as individuals. I sincerely ask for forgiveness for my sins and the sins of my nation (Daniel 9:20). Have mercy on us and soften our hearts the hearts of all citizens (and all those residing in ###) and please grant racial healing and repentance to the whole Country.
We pray for Kings and All in Authority in The U.S. Government, Military, Law Enforcement (Federal, State, County and City) & Fire Departments to have grace and peace and mercy extended to them so as to receive Jesus Christ and live by His law of love... Help us remember that in our Country, one is innocent until “Proven Guilty.” Help Christians Pray for him and our leaders (1 Tim 2:1-8) and Show Up to Vote in the Upcoming Elections here in ###.
Grant not only the U.S. but all the Free Nations of the World to have godly representatives & leaders in our Governments, Militaries and Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement. Grant us all to have fair voter counts. Soften the Hearts of Leaders and open up “Closed, Regime-Like Countries” to The Gospel and democracy... Protect the thinking citizens, believers and missionaries there and give them perpetual freedom to discuss and maintain their individual views on all topics, therefore protecting not only free speech but also The Glorious Gospel of Our Blessed God and Savior, Jesus Christ (See last four chapters of Aeropagitica, John Milton’s address to Parliament, 1644).
Release those bound in prison for their faith and testimony of Jesus in those countries (like you did for Peter and John, and again later for just Peter in Acts). Protect missionaries and believers and make them invisible to anyone who would want to hurt them or slow the progress of the gospel (especially the evil one, who is a real fallen angel). Help us “Continue to remember those in prison as if we were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering” (Hebrews 13:3, NIV).
