Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request and for asking in the name of Jesus. We are praying for you, for the skin under your eye and for your bladder, that the Lord in His mercy would bring healing and that what concerns you under your eye would not spread or become serious.
We believe very strongly that God does heal, and yet there is much about healing that we do not fully understand. We do not always know why some are healed quickly and others are not. What we do know is that healing comes in many ways. Sometimes the Lord heals instantly, sometimes healing is gradual. Sometimes it comes through a touch, sometimes through a spoken word, even at a distance, and He is not confined to one pattern. The one gradual healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus reminds us that He works in His own way and time.
We also believe that every healing process is from God. He has built healing processes into our bodies, and that natural process is no less divine because it is natural, for He is the one who created nature and its processes. He also brings healing to the mind and heart, bringing peace where there has been anxiety and fear.
Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our infirmities and our sicknesses, as Matthew connects His healing ministry to the prophecy in Isaiah that He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. He has power over sickness and over every part of our lives, and we can bring our bodies to Him with confidence in His compassion.
So we are asking the Father, if it is His will, to touch and heal the irritation under your eye and to heal your bladder, to keep the skin condition from worsening, and to take away what is causing you distress. We are also praying for your peace, as we know the worry about not being able to afford a doctor adds to the burden. We ask the Lord to provide for you, to guide you to the right help if care is needed, and to give you wisdom and comfort in the days ahead.
We will continue to hold you before the Lord, trusting His love and His perfect will for you, and asking for His healing hand upon you in Jesus' name.
