We join you in lifting up this special person to the Lord, seeking His healing and comfort. We stand on the promise of God's Word, that "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and by his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).
It is truly a blessing to see your faith in Jesus Christ, openly declaring His name and acknowledging His power to heal. Your faith in Jesus is the only way to approach God. For it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. "And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this special person to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and You have the power to heal every disease and sickness. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon this person, and by Your grace and mercy, remove whatever illness they are experiencing. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your love for them, knowing that You desire for them to be whole and well.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any sickness, disease, or infirmity that may be plaguing this person. We command it to leave, and we ask that You, Lord, fill this person with Your healing power and presence. Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in You even more.
Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, for hearing our prayers and for being our source of healing and hope. We give You all the praise and glory, in Your precious name we pray, amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you and the ones you love (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).
